It’s time to share with you this so yummy pasta! Whoever loves salmon will turn this dish into the favorite one! This recipe is the one on my “quickest pasta recipe list”, because it’s so simple, it requires very few ingredients, and the sauce has the same cooking time as the pasta itself. Which makes it perfect for those days when you are in a hurry, or whenever you want to eat something delicious without spending hours in the kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talking about ingredients.. This is one of the very few pastas that comes with cream! Actually it’s the only popular one that I know. A lot of people are surprised when they hear that cream is not common at all in the Italian pasta cuisine. Especially being so common in Italian restaurants, such as in Germany. You can read more about this\u00a0here<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I must say that here it’s the cream that does make the difference. It blends in so well with the salmon! But be careful with the kind that you use. I do not recommend replacing a plain whipping cream with other similar ones that contain herbs or cheese, or any other kind of intense flavors. I tried once and it truly killed the whole dish. All the herbs and other flavors were so strong that we couldn’t even taste the salmon anymore. Which was supposed to play the most important role in it.<\/span><\/p>\n

So stick to simplicity. That will guarantee you a genuine meal, where you can enjoy every single element.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

400 g \/ 14 oz of smoked salmon<\/span><\/p>\n

300 g \/ 10\u00bd oz of\u00a0whipped cream (liquid) \/ cooking cream<\/span><\/p>\n

1 tbsp of chopped parsley<\/span><\/p>\n

2 tsp of tomato paste<\/span><\/p>\n

pepper to taste<\/span><\/p>\n

2 tsp of olive oil<\/span><\/p>\n

400 g \/14 oz of\u00a0farfalle (alternatively penne or penne rigate)<\/span><\/p>\n

salt (for the pasta only)<\/span><\/p>\n

Bring the water to a boil. Add the salt and pour in the pasta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meantime heat the olive oil in a pan at medium heat. Then add the salmon and chop it with a wood spoon. Let it simmer for 2 or 3 min.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stir in the liquid cream, the tomato paste and one half of the chopped parsley. Season with a little pepper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If the sauce gets too dry, turn the heat on low and add some water from the pot with the pasta.<\/span><\/p>\n

As soon as the farfalle are cooked al dente, pour them into the pan and stir well. Sprinkle with the remaining parsley and serve hot.<\/span><\/p>\n
