Here I am, back again, after 1,5 months!! It feels like I haven’t posted anything anymore in a very long time! Way too long…
I was longing to get back to those things that I really enjoy doing, after a long failed ‘vacation’ abroad (I’ll spare you the details..) and a stressful post-vacation impact at work, which makes me hate my job even more.
The prerequisites are given :) More than before! The days are much longer now. That means, I don’t have to wait for the weekends to dedicate myself to my food photo projects. There is enough light outside until 9pm and beyond :)
I kept adding recipes to my list that I want to share with you. I was indecisive as to which one to pick next. While I am still hoping to make it to Provence in Southern France before August, to see the lavender fields for the very first time in my life, the idea of lavender influenced my decision right away!
This time I want to share with you one of my favorite snacks. No elaborated recipes, no cooking, nor baking required. Nothing but the simplicity of four ingredients that blend so perfectly well together.. Goat cheese, lavender honey, fresh lavender and baguette. That’s it! Besides being so tasty, it’s also a joy to look at! It goes well as an appetizer, as a snack or combined with a salad.
Are you ready to take your taste buds on a wonderful journey through Southern France?
Alors, on y va!
GOAT CHEESE-LAVENDER HONEY WITH BAGUETTE
Ingredients:
fresh baguette
French goat (cream) cheese
lavender honey (alternatively regular honey)
fresh edible lavender

Cut the baguette into thick slices.
Depending on the type of goat cheese, either spread it or slice and place it on the bread.
Sprinkle with some honey and fresh lavender buds.
That’s it! Simple, isn’t it? ;)
Enjoy!!
